Thanksgiving is a special time of year. No anxiety about giving or receiving gifts, just the pleasure of the best company you can have to celebrate the day. We do have much to be thankful for. As rocky as things are right now, we still live in a free country. Free of war and famine. Free to enjoy the fruits of our labor and free to look ahead to a promising future for ourselves and our children.
This is a time to set aside politics and embrace everyone. No politics at the table, please!
Enjoy this day… especially pie with ice cream! Apple is my favorite. Don’t worry too much about the calories, you can always get rid of a few with some exercise in the days afterward.
