2022 is finally coming to a close. It has been an experience but still better than 2020. As you know, Retribution launched on time November 7th, more than a year after Crucible. I don’t like letting that much time go between books, but sometimes we aren’t in total control. Insurrection is done with the writing and editing phase and should be out in March. That leaves me with the next book in the series. I don’t have a title yet and am only through Chapter 1 … a long way to go.
Meanwhile, I have been trying to do better with marketing and all that it entails. In doing so, there are now some added features to the Amazon pages for Crucible and Retribution. Under these sections called From the Publisher, there are now a couple of blurbs for each book. One (Crucible) you might be especially interested in because you can now put a face to Captain Nick Hall.
I’m also encouraging readers who have enjoyed the books to leave a review. Reviews are as necessary as air for an individual. And they are very hard to come by because of the reluctance of satisfied readers to write something. The truth is, if you are phobic about writing, all you have to do is give it a star rating (a good one, of course) and move on. Comments are preferred, but you don’t have to.
All that being said, I hope you had a great Christmas and that 2023 will be better than you can imagine.

BTW, Jake got a new bed which he went to almost immediately after playing with his Christmas toys! Jethro is still not well-behaved enough to be allowed under the tree, but he should be next year.
