Next week, Wizzy is dying to speak up again and claim the story as his success. In part, that is true. However, in addition to Captain Nick and his crew, there are a lot of people in the background making this happen— editors, Beta readers, and designers, to name just a few. In any book, never think it is all just the author that makes things happen. Oh, and don’t forget the crew, not just as characters. Each crew member contributes to the story in plot development and in the outcome. Yes, characters speak to authors and help mold the story. In my first series, The Host Saga, I planned to end it after book three. But the characters made me go forward with more. They weren’t ready to stop.
