Doctor Ramard of the Argos wants to speak to you in a minute.

Two Weeks to Go!

When Crucible launched, the Argos’ chief medical officer, Dr. Ramard, got the highest view rate of all the characters, so he is back again for Retribution.

We are nearly there. At this two-week point, I’m releasing this video of the good doctor commenting on what’s next. No, this is not an AI generation. He is a real person, and you will hear from him again after the launch on November 7th. Listen to the Doctor Here. Then return to read more.

When I launched my first novel, Future Discovered, I was nervous. What would people think of it? Did I do a good job? I’d be lying if I said those thoughts don’t still go through my head, but they aren’t as powerful and potentially numbing. When you get into a routine, things are a little easier on the mind— especially when the follow-on book in the series (Insurrection) is already written and being edited.

Somebody asked me once,” What is the hardest part of the novel writing business?” To me, the quick answer is marketing. Making people aware of the book and getting them to buy it is a real challenge, at least for me, especially since I am introverted. In this business, the term used a lot to describe your strength of potential readers is “your platform.”  Essentially it means the contact base you have that can support your work and sales (potential readers). If that base isn’t in the many thousands, then your “platform” needs improvement. Except for the top Best Sellers, we are all looking to build our platforms.

You can help by passing this along and recommending my work to others. If you do, Wizzy will be happy and make our lives easier.
